Fields of Use:
Decorative plaster EMEX is used to protect and cover the exterior surfaces of civil and industrial buildings, new or old, taking into consideration and obtaining special visual effects, usually circular striations.
It is a type of plaster used mostly in place of Acrylic Decorative Plaster, due to the different pattern of the structure. It has the same high performance and high quality ratio. It is a strong product even for areas exposed to excessive dirt, grease, moisture, etc., without geographical limitations (eg mountain areas or exposed to salt mist). Contains hydrophobicants, which do not allow the substrate to moisten in depth.
All mineral base surfaces are suitable for application: cementitious plasters, concrete, masonry, lime-cement plasters, lime or plaster plasters, new or old plasters based on binders, gypsum boards, mineral aggregates type, old paint of organic or mineral nature, dry, compact and absorbent, asbestos, etc.
The surfaces will necessarily be primed with the EMEX Coating Primer Coating Primer, which also has the complementary role of creating anchor points to increase the adhesion of the plaster to the substrate.
If there are areas of mold or fungus attacked, they will be treated with Sanitizant Forte EMEX.
Also, a layer of Supercoat EMEX Exterior Paint will be applied as a backing layer.
