Concrete Waterproofing CONCRETE impregnated EMEX. EMEX CONCRETE is a water-based professional water-based silane product recommended for rendering hydrophobic properties to concrete, reinforced concrete and mineral surfaces, significantly increasing the life of the concrete and allowing the structure to breathe . The product has a good penetration power and an effective action to reduce the permeability of the substrate to water or moisture and to increase resistance to salt infiltration and oxidation effects.

Fields of Use:

     EMEX CONCRETE Concrete Impregnation Concrete is intended for concrete cement surfaces or other mineral base materials to provide preserving properties against the action of water, salts or other corrosive substances present in the atmosphere, preventing the oxidation effects which over time can damage the structure material, leading to even peeling.
     The product has a high penetration power (up to 10 mm) and resistance to water or residual moisture.
     Impregnation Concrete is recommended for the protection of vertical overhangs, against moisture and degradation, against windy rain or the penetration of chlorinated agents. The most common surfaces are: brick concrete and masonry, prefabricated facades, concrete panels, natural or artificial stone, stone blocks, concrete pavements, terracotta tiles (tiles or small ceramic tiles), substrates for mineral silicate paints . The product completely retains the appearance of the texture of the support.
     The product is only suitable for new surfaces that have not been dyed.
     The surfaces to be coated with the Silane-based Hydrofobing Solution are loosened and degreased properly to remove any traces of dirt or grease. Surfaces must be tough and compact, with no tendency to peel or crack.
