Concrete lake EMEX MINERAL PROTECT is a professional product based on pure acrylic resins, special fillers and hydrophobizing agents designed to fix concrete or generally cementitious surfaces but especially against water action while preserving their natural appearance with good resistance to water, fat, etc.
The product has a good penetration and waterproofing power or water infiltration, preventing the erosion effects due to it. Contains organic biotic enzymes for protection against fungi and molds.
This type of protective lacquer is recommended for the economical protection of overhead concrete walls located indoors or outdoors against infiltration, dirt and degradation. The product can be applied on any type of substrate to provide economical protection against water action, while maintaining the appearance of the texture of the support.
Surfaces to be covered with water based concrete varnish are stripped and degreased properly to remove any traces of dirt or grease. Any existing protections, regardless of their nature, are recommended to be completely removed, especially if the type or component of the previous layer is not known or compatibility tests are known.
For other types of mineral surfaces, such as brick, it will be ensured that the surface is durable and compact, without the risk of peeling or cracking.
