It is used to cover the following types of surfaces: concrete, masonry, cement plasters, old compact and resistant plasters, cementitious mineral coats, mineral absorbent conglomerates of all kinds, old, dry, compact and absorbent mineral paint.
Washable Silica paint will not be applied on plasterboard, plaster or lime plasters, old resin-rich coatings, synthetic materials and resins, acrylic paints, glue or casein paints, lacquers, oil paints, soft surfaces and elastic, etc.
It is recommended to remove any old paints and perform pre-tests, for each type of support to be applied.
Preparing the support before applying the silicate primer will be done only by grinding.
Areas attacked by mold or fungi will be cleaned with Sanitizant Forte EMEX. Before applying the paint, the surfaces will be prepared with the EMEX Wall Silica Primer
This washable paint is also recommended as a backing layer for EMEX Silicate Decorating Plaster.
