Elastic Waterproofing Paints EMEX AQ BAR is a professional, waterproofing product based on special copolymers with the addition of additives and high performance fillers to protect and decorate masonry and plasters, while also providing good protection against infiltrations of any kind, thus avoiding significant damage by environmental factors. The product is used for the waterproofing of water exposed areas (recommended for swimming pools), as well as for the protection of people exposed to vibrations, noises, movements, etc., also having sound absorbing properties.

EMEX AQ BAR Elastic Water Paint is intended for professional use in order to protect against infiltration or environmental factors, waterproofing and superior decoration of interior or exterior surfaces, exhibiting a very high adhesion on most types of surfaces. Highly elastic, waterproof, water-tight films provide great resistance to water, preventing long-term infiltration or rust.
It is especially used for: swimming pools, terraces, foam or polyurethane membranes, light waterproofing.
Areas attacked by mold or fungi, or just prone, will be cleaned with Sanitizant Forte EMEX before applying a recommended priming.
It can be used as the final coat to cover a wide variety of mineral base surfaces such as concrete, masonry, BCA, stone, bricks, limestone, lime plasters, lime or plaster plasters, new or old plasters based on binders, gypsum boards, absorbent mineral aggregates of any type, old organic or mineral paint, dry, compact and absorbent, or other surfaces such as: sheet, galvanized sheet, tin plate, copper, aluminum, polyethylene , polypropylene, PVC, OSB, plywood, panel, canvas, cardboard, expanded polystyrene.
Having strong phono-absorbing properties is also used in areas where it is desired to perform a sounding of the substrate (eg roof coverings).
