According Ariston Thermo Romania, market leader thermal and electric boilers annual sales heating systems have increased about 20 times in the last two decades. Among the main reasons which were the basis of this development include constant increase in the number of disconnections, the new construction market, and increasing numbers of replacement plants.
The increasing demand for individual heating equipment started because of problems arising CHP, and customers wishing to acquire a high degree of comfort and independence. Currently, domestically boiler can be considered a mature market due to increased share of substitutions, which occupies a percentage of increasingly higher sales.
In the late '90, when they started to close the first CHPs due to malfunction corresponding and recording losses growing, annual sales of heating systems recorded a total of 15,000 units. Over time, influenced by the constant evolution of disconnection and the number of new buildings rising amount of thermal power sold increased to approx. 170,000 units (2008), the outlook for this year is about 270,000 units, an increase of 20 times.

According to the survey company's current customer is better informed on current trends in the field and more concerned about the benefits of new technologies. It also is looking for information especially in the online environment and the recommendations, buy products in specialized stores or chains of DIY installation, considering the advice to installers and sales advisers.
