  • Swansea University is looking to procure a development partner to carry out a further phase of expansion and development works on, or near to, its Bay Campus. The works will comprise the: - construction and delivery of between 20,000 and 30,000 square meters of academic development, and ancillary retail and support facilities located on the Bay Campus; - construction, maintenance and operation of a minimum of six hundred (600) (and a maximum of fifteen hundred (1500)) accommodation units either on, or near to, the Bay Campus; and - potential construction and delivery of additional ancillary student space, welfare facilities and place-making such as (but not limited to) sports or music facilities.
  • Rochdale Borough Council (RBC) on behalf of Rochdale Development Agency (RDA) are tendering for a Contractor who is required to carry out the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover of the Chamber House Solar Farm (the Solar Farm, or Project) and then operate and maintain the system until Completion. This project forms part of the wider Unlocking Clean Energy in Greater Manchester (UCEGM) European Regional Development Funded (ERDF) project and as such is part grant funded by ERDF The Solar Farm shall have a 30-year design life and shall generate and export power to the Point of Supply (PoS) defined in the grid connection offer provided by Electricity North West (ENW, or the Distribution Network Operator (DNO)).

  • The Enabling Civils Works (Package 2) (ECW2) Contract is to carry out the enabling civils works for HS2 Phase 2a, consisting of the construction of a bridge and associated slip roads across the M6 motorway at Yarnfield Lane, Stone, Staffordshire, together with highways improvements to Yarnfield lane; and off-route road improvement schemes at 20 locations across the line of route that are intended to mitigate the effects of increased traffic numbers during the main HS2 construction works with associated survey works. The Contract included route wide engineering and environmental surveys to inform the design of the railway.
  • Somerset County Council (“Council”) awarded a contract to Viridor Waste Management Limited (“Viridor”) in 2006 following a procurement for project management services for the delivery of the Council’s municipal waste strategy and its landfill directive obligations to divert biodegradable municipal waste from landfill (the “Contract”). The procurement was advertised in OJEU Contract Notice (2004/S 204-174980). This also encompassed the delivery of waste services and development of new waste treatment facilities - details can be found in the OJEU Contract Notice.
