The role of the supplier under this contract will be to provide workers across the construction trades to support the refurbishment and repair works on site. These works will include the renovation of commercial buildings, improvements to the site's external spaces and repairs to the piled wharf structure. You will be required to supply multi skilled workers with experience of working on commercial construction projects. They will be required to have relevant construction site qualifications, trades certificates and where necessary

The Authority has engaged two contractors for the design, supply and installation of electronic security equipment over a maximum term of 6 years (initially a 4-year term with potentially two 12-month extensions). Mini-competitions or direct awards will be issued based on the NEC3 or NEC4 suite of contracts. An invitation to tender (ITT) was issued providing full details of the framework. Works will be awarded by mini-competition or direct award, where value for money can be demonstrated. The allocation of the work via direct awards, and to maintain a position on the framework, is subject to a performance management regime using key performance indicators.
  • South Tyneside Council wishes to install a district heating system serving several Council owned buildings in central Hebburn utilising the disused mine workings under Hebburn as a heat source. The installation of such a district heating scheme will reduce the Council’s reliance on gas to provide heating and significantly contribute to the Council’s commitment to its Carbon Reduction targets, and this scheme alone will provide a saving of 319 tonnes/year saving. A separate contract has been awarded to undertake the drilling of two boreholes, and the construction of permanent abstraction and re-injection wells. The water source heat pump adopted in this project will be able to source heat from both the mine water as well as ambient air (via dry air cooler) in the event that the mines are found to be unable to provide a sustainable mine water heat source.

  • The purpose of this Notice is to inform the market of the additional works/services to be performed by UBB Waste (Essex) Limited following a proposed amendment of its contract with ECC for the design, construction, commissioning, operation and handback of a mechanical biological treatment facility in Basildon. The facility did not pass the acceptance tests specified in the contract which led to ECC commencing litigation against the contractor. The Authority has given notice that it is proposing to take a decision to enter into an Agreement to settle that litigation and to amend the handback requirements of the contract such that the site will be returned to ECC in a condition that will allow for its future redevelopment. It is expected that the modified contract will expire in 2040.
  • The objective of this contract is the supply, transportation, and construction of stone, timber, plastic, heather bale and natural fibre log dams in gully systems on restoration work sites around the Peak District and South Pennines SAC. It also includes the construction of peat dams, peat bunds and the re-profiling of hag/gully sides.

This involved inviting tenders from the providers who are currently approved to the relevant lot(s) of the DPS.
  • Monitoring of water quality in systems across the Borough in line with Regulations.The initial contract term will be for 3 years with an option to extend for one further period of 2 years (3+2) for a potential total contract term of 5 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is up to £80,000.00 per annum, £240,000 across the initial 3 year contract term and up to £400,000.00 across the potential total 5 year contract term.
  • Blackpool Council wishes to invite proposals for the development of the Golden Mile Centre, the Promenade, Blackpool. Participants with an extensive track-record of operating world class (by which the Council means an attraction or brand widely recognised both inside and outside the UK ) branded family orientated visitor attractions known for their high quality and widespread appeal are required to submit proposals to Blackpool Council for the proposed future use of the Golden Mile Centre. Proposals must include potential redevelopment of the building, along with the ongoing proposals for operation of the developed facility.

  • A development agreement (“DA”) was originally entered into in 2010 between the South East England Development Agency (“SEEDA”) and Stanhope PLC and concerned the re-development, in phases, of a site in the centre of Ashford known as Elwick Place according to a masterplan to be agreed between the parties. In 2015 the Council acquired the site and the rights and obligations formerly vested in SEEDA under the DA. The Phases are now as follows: Phase 1 (cinema, hotel, restaurants, retail units and car park), Phase 2 (200 residential flats) and Phase 3 (yet to be agreed). The parties have now agreed certain changes to the DA.
