Teraplast Group acquired control of Depaco

Teraplast Group, the largest PVC processor in Romania and one of the leading producers of materials for construction and installation market, announces the acquisition of control over Depaco LLC Price majority of 67% was 12.35 million euros.

Teraplast signed a promise of sale of minority associations Depaco for the remaining stake held by them up to 100% of the company. The transaction will be carried out later than four years at a price linked to Depaco results in the coming years.

Teraplast Group acquired control of Depaco after receiving a favorable opinion from the Competition Council. The opinion comes after Teraplast Group reached a holding of 67% of the share capital of Depaco in November last year. & Nbsp;

Businesses Depaco increased in 2017 recording a turnover of 40 million euros, an increase of 45% compared to 2016. For 2018 TERAPLAST aims to continue this ascent and realize an increase of over 50% Depaco the business.

Currently, Depaco development plans of the factory runs from Baicoi (Prahova county) and the Podari (Dolj county) in order to increase the production capacity and logistics.
