II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Construction of Aberdeen South Harbour has commenced. This procurement is for the construction of the South Breakwater (approximately 600m long) and other ancillary works, inclusive of the recommissioning and operation of the existing on-site accropode manufacturing facility for the manufacture of the final concrete accropodes for the construction of the South Breakwater, for which the concrete supply will be provided by the Client. The South Breakwater construction has partially commenced and will have material deposited within the footprint by on-going dredging works. The successful Contractor will be responsible for the full construction and reworking of any deposited material to meet the design profiles.The Tenderer will require to demonstrate suitable experiance and capibility to successfully deliver the specialist nature of the works.
