  • Type of contract: Works. outhside district situated in the heart of Chinatown attracts visitors and tourists to the city centre and is one of the most diverse and creative areas of Birmingham. It lies within the boundary of the City Centre Economic Zone (EZ). The Council wishes to establish a contract to carry out work to Southside Public Realm.
  • Our multidisciplinary technical services framework will be used to procure development related professional and technical services on our land. The services procured through this framework will be linked to preparation of public sector sites for disposals to developers in order to build homes.
  • The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Development Partner for the delivery of a major mixed use scheme on a 3-hectare site at Fountainbridge. The development requirements for the site comprise of at least 436 homes and a separate office building. The proposals also include retail and commercial space which could be used for a variety of purposes. It is expected that the Development Partner would construct approximately 177 affordable homes, with ground floor retail for the Council, while the office space, remaining residential units, and ground floor retail/commercial space would represent a development opportunity.
  • Supply of Double Glazed Units and Sheet Glass - DPS. Works
  • South Tyneside Council wishes to install a district heating system serving several Council owned buildings in central Hebburn utilising the disused mine workings under Hebburn as a heat source. The installation of such a district heating scheme will reduce the Council’s reliance on gas to provide heating and significantly contribute to the Council’s commitment to its Carbon Reduction targets, and this scheme alone will provide a saving of 319 tonnes/year saving. A separate contract has been awarded to undertake the drilling of two boreholes, and the construction of permanent abstraction and re-injection wells. The water source heat pump adopted in this project will be able to source heat from both the mine water as well as ambient air (via dry air cooler) in the event that the mines are found to be unable to provide a sustainable mine water heat source.
  • Installation of ducting and foundation works for electric vehicle charge points
  • The proposed works covered under the Highways Capital Improvement Projects Term Contract typically but not exhaustively include: New kerbing and footway works; Carriageway realignment, reconstruction, planing and surfacing works; Junction improvement works; Traffic Signal Junctions and Controlled Crossings (Puffin, Toucan and Pegasus); Installation of Bus Stops and pedestrian crossing point to DDA standards; Provisions for cycling; Installation of street furniture; Traffic calming features.   • CA7674 - Tower Block Ground Floor Toilets, Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • The scope of works will entail building new stabling roads. This will require additional track, new Switch and Crossings (S&C) units, platforms, walkways, lighting, communications and signalling.

  • The design, installation and commissioning of a 3MW ground mounted solar farm at Newcastle International Airport
  • The Council is carrying out this procurement process to establish a multi supplier Framework Agreement to provide the supply on an ex works basis
  • This framework agreement is for the manufacture and supply of pipe spools. The framework will be for a maximum period of 48 months and act as an overflow to Framework Agreement FMPG/2020/004, to reduce the risk of any unforseen capacity.
  • DAERA requires the Contractor to deliver a repeat of the NI Countryside Survey to provide a statistically robust assessment of land cover change and habitat condition in NI since the previous Countryside Survey in 2007. The Contractor will use this data to assess the outcomes of the current NI agri-environment scheme (EFS) in terms of habitat condition and establishment of green infrastructure. In addition, the Contractor will be required to record primary measurements of soil condition which influence soil function. This will form a baseline assessment of soil condition and function in NI Countryside Survey squares and will assess the linkages between soil condition and overlying vegetation.
