  • Thames Water Utilities Ltd (TWUL) is seeking to establish a contract for the delivery of Waste Network Services which includes maintenance (reactive activity such as clearing blockages); civils work; the delivery of rehabilitation works to the waste network; and rodent control services. TWUL will be testing two options for maintenance.
  • Thames Water Utilities Ltd intends to award one or more framework agreements for the provision of security access equipment. This will apply across all Thames Water regions and bidders can apply for one or more lots.

  • Thames Water Utilities Ltd (TWUL) is intending to award a number of framework agreements for the supply of high voltage (up to 36kV) switchgear, motor starters, transformers, associated ancillary equipment and related design and installation services. These goods and services will be used on our operational water and wastewater sites. TWUL has approximately 150 high voltage sites varying in size from a single transformer up to large and relatively complex distribution systems with generators and/or motor drives with the majority of the latter being located in and around the London area.
  • TWUL are procuring design and build delivery capability for Infrastructure and non-Infrastructure projects. TWUL recognises these as infrastructure – nominally the underground network of water mains and sewage and non-infrastructure – nominally all above ground plant, equipment, structures and process; the expected scope of works spans Thames Water’s water and wastewater infrastructure (network) and non-infrastructure (treatment) assets across the Thames Water region.
  • United Utilities Water Ltd’s current Capital Investment Programme (AMP7) involves undertaking a diverse range of works and/or the provision of a variety of services in respect of its assets and network. United Utilities network and assets exist at various locations within its region. The scope of services awarded by this procurement relate to the Wastewater Network only and include the following: sewer cleaning, sewer inspections, asset cleaning (wet wells)

  • New Gas Fired Heating Systems and Hot Water Installation at Richmondshire District Council's Gallowfields Depot
  • South Tyneside Council wishes to install a district heating system serving several Council owned buildings in central Hebburn utilising the disused mine workings under Hebburn as a heat source. The installation of such a district heating scheme will reduce the Council’s reliance on gas to provide heating and significantly contribute to the Council’s commitment to its Carbon Reduction targets, and this scheme alone will provide a saving of 319 tonnes/year saving. A separate contract has been awarded to undertake the drilling of two boreholes, and the construction of permanent abstraction and re-injection wells. The water source heat pump adopted in this project will be able to source heat from both the mine water as well as ambient air (via dry air cooler) in the event that the mines are found to be unable to provide a sustainable mine water heat source.
  • Cyclical and response maintenance of water and waste water services at Stonehenge Visitor Centre as detailed in ITT Document 1 Specification complete all tasks associated with the day to day operation of the PWS, GSHCS, VDS and MBR systems in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements in order to provide safe drinking water, protect environmental resources, maintain compliance with existing permits and reduce operational costs.

Services required under this contract will include grass cutting, removal and disposal of grass cuttings (where appropriate e.g. first cut), edge maintenance, hedge trimming, shrub pruning, tree surgery and weed control.
