The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Development Partner for the delivery of a major mixed use scheme on a 3-hectare site at Fountainbridge. The development requirements for the site comprise of at least 436 homes and a separate office building. The proposals also include retail and commercial space which could be used for a variety of purposes. It is expected that the Development Partner would construct approximately 177 affordable homes, with ground floor retail for the Council, while the office space, remaining residential units, and ground floor retail/commercial space would represent a development opportunity.

Monitoring of water quality in systems across the Borough in line with Regulations.The initial contract term will be for 3 years with an option to extend for one further period of 2 years (3+2) for a potential total contract term of 5 years as stated in the ITT documents. South Tyneside Council wishes to install a district heating system serving several Council owned buildings in central Hebburn utilising the disused mine workings under Hebburn as a heat source. The installation of such a district heating scheme will reduce the Council’s reliance on gas to provide heating and significantly contribute to the Council’s commitment to its Carbon Reduction targets, and this scheme alone will provide a saving of 319 tonnes/year saving. A separate contract has been awarded to undertake the drilling of two boreholes, and the construction of permanent abstraction and re-injection wells. The water source heat pump adopted in this project will be able to source heat from both the mine water as well as ambient air (via dry air cooler) in the event that the mines are found to be unable to provide a sustainable mine water heat source.

Hull City Council (The Authority) invites qualified and interested suppliers to tender for The Renovation and Refurbishment of the Dock Office Chambers and the Grade II* Hull Maritime Museum.

Project will comprise the construction of 1no. three-storey BREEAM Excellent workshed, including solar PVs, with a total GIA of circa 1,328m2. As part of the works the contractor will provide all required external and landscaping works, including planting, alterations to boundaries, provision of parking, and provision of infrastructure to the buildings. The construction of an external plant room, a cycle store, and a bin store to serve the development concludes the generic scope of construction work. As part of the RIBA Stage 4 design, or as part of construction if the conditional permission permits, the contractor must provide the design information and documentation required to discharge the planning conditions for which they are responsible on this project.

A development agreement (“DA”) was originally entered into in 2010 between the South East England Development Agency (“SEEDA”) and Stanhope PLC and concerned the re-development, in phases, of a site in the centre of Ashford known as Elwick Place according to a masterplan to be agreed between the parties. In 2015 the Council acquired the site and the rights and obligations formerly vested in SEEDA under the DA. The Phases are now as follows: Phase 1 (cinema, hotel, restaurants, retail units and car park), Phase 2 (200 residential flats) and Phase 3 (yet to be agreed). DELETTI (DEvon Low carbon Energy and Transport Technology Innovator) is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) part-funded programme that aims to continue the low carbon transport and energy transformation, through the expansion of electric vehicle charge points (EVCPs), solar carports and developing new, local energy models.
