This project forms part of the wider Unlocking Clean Energy in Greater Manchester (UCEGM) European Regional Development Funded (ERDF) project and as such is part grant funded by ERDF The Solar Farm shall have a 30-year design life and shall generate and export power to the Point of Supply (PoS) defined in the grid connection offer provided by Electricity North West (ENW, or the Distribution Network Operator (DNO)).

Originally focussed in the North West, Procure Plus are now extending their offer with the aim of delivering a service across the UK. Procure Plus wishes to procure and enter into a framework agreement for the supply and installation of low and zero-carbon technologies.

ENP wishes to procure and enter into a Framework Agreement for the completion of a range of installation and repair works for planned maintenance and some servicing or/and maintenance works for cyclical or responsive maintenance predominantly in social housing properties but works may also be carried out in other public buildings including but not limited to offices.

The works comprise the annual service and maintenance to all Association owned appliances of gas heating systems and appliances following manufacturer’s requirements and shall include everything necessary for this check, including but not restricted to all labour, parts etc., of all gas installations, including appliances and flues. Also included will be the annual servicing and maintenance of unvented hot water cylinders. The pricing of the works will be on an all inclusive annual basis for all works, servicing and reactive maintenance.

These works have been broken down into 4 different work packages, they include: - Package 1 - Kingsway Box Sewer Works, Package 2 - Covered Approaches - Repairs, Package 3 - Covered Approaches - Painting, Package 4 - Retaining Walls and Overbridges

The procurement is in relation to a planned programme of works to return various of the authority’s housing stock to compliance with current (and proposed) building regulations in respect of fire safety. The authority has commissioned a series of fire risk assessments and facade surveys to inform the condition of the stock and the remedial works necessary to return blocks found to be non-compliant to standard.
